ARTIST STATEMENT
“The cure for boredom is curiosity, there is no cure for curiosity”
Dorothy Parker
I explore creativity through the utilization of various media, methods, styles and techniques. Spontaneity and randomness play a significant role in my creative process in that much of the material in my work is found or recycled. I find that offers an opportunity to develop bodies of work that are varied in context, composition, and construction. I attempt to analyze the complex, misunderstood, and unsung through universal themes, shape, colors, actions, symbols, words and ideas.
My work makes an effort at healing and understanding experience, and how it relates to our current, past and potential paths and how they connect and bind us all as participant and observer, catalyst and end result.
Another significant themes that inform my work is my own multi-cultural experience and how that experience impacts my existence and relation to world around me. It also makes me curious about other people’s experiences of how their own culture interacts with the world in which they live.
As Dorothy Parker says, “there is no cure for curiosity”, and curiosity is the prevailing stance I take towards my creative efforts.

BULLY BEATDOWN.
MY NEW FAVORITE SHOW: BULLY BEATDOWN
( I DONT ADVOCATE FOR,ENCOURAGE, APPROVE, NOR RECOMMEND TV. I STILL CONSIDER IT A PLAGUE...MIND-FUCKER IF YOU WILL.)
I confess i was bored late,really, really, late last night. I turned on the TV...who can resist hotel TV in the wee hours?
anyway there i was flipping through channel after channel of mindless ridiculousness...
until i came across a this show. in initially i stopped on this channel because of a glance on kim kardashians...um.... pretty smile, or a flashy music video...wait mtv doesn't do that anymore. Well anyway this show is called is called
'Bully Beatdown" it takes bullies and gives them a lesson in manners...
I loved it! i know a couple i would love to nominate...here is one to start with.

robert powell of Dallas, Texas needs to have his next tv debut on this show, id love to see this a-hole get what he surely deserves....

ART EXHIBITION OF COLLABORATIVE WORK.
STATEMENT OF INTENT:
THIS IS MY FIRST COLLABORATIVE EFFORT OFFICIALLY WITH SAFETY FIRST.
I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME ADMIRER OF HIS TENACITY AND PROLIFIC NATION WIDE OUTPUT OF SOME SERIOUSLY AMAZING AND THOUGHT PROVOKING WORK.
THE WORK WE DO OVER THE NEXT 9 MONTHS WILL CULMINATE WITH AN EXHIBITION.
OUR GOAL IS TO DEVELOP A BODY OF WORK THAT REFLECTS NOT ONLY OUR PHILOSOPHIES.BUT, WILL ALSO REFLECT OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRENT PAST AND FUTURE STATE OF COLONIALISED PEOPLES OF THE WORLD. WE ALSO INTEND TO EXPLORE POP CULTURE THEMES, CURRENT EVENTS, AND ECONOMICS.
ONE OF THE UNDERLYING THEMES THAT WILL BECOME APPARENT WILL BE THE IMPACT ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLES, THOUGHT, RELIGION AND PURSUITS ON RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN MEMEBERS OF ETHNIC AND CULTURAL GROUPS.
OUR METHODS USED TO COMPLETE THIS BODY OF WORK WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO,
INTERNET, STANDARD POST, TELEPHONE, AND VISITING EACH OTHERS STUDIOS NO LESS THAN ONCE A WEEK TO COMPARE NOTES, SHARE IDEAS, AND WORK ON VARIOUS PAINTINGS, SCULPTURE, MUSIC AND WRITING FOR THE EXHIBITION.
IT IS OUR INTENTION TO FOCUS ON PROPSING THE EXHIBITION LOCALLY IN SAN FRANCISCO TO GALLERIES AND OTHER GALLIERIES IN THE USA, JAPAN, EUROPE, AND SOUTH AMERICA.
APPROPRIATELY THE NEXT NINE MONTHS WILL SEE THE GESTATION OF THE ANTJUAN ODEN AND SAFETY FIRST EXTRAVAGANZA! STAY TUNED!
